Rock Bottom is a 2D platformer that encompasses the story of Blobby. Blobby had dreams of becoming a musician as a child, but life did not turn out that way. Instead, he has grown up and has become an office worker at a not so great company. The world he once saw full of color quickly deteriorated into a barren, grey landscape riddled with the pains of being an adult doing adult things. With all his dreams and joy of life's gifts long forgotten, please help Blobby remember how it was like as child when times were better by traversing through his memories and facing his life struggles. Help him face his fears and regrets. Reach Blobby’s rock bottom and redeem what was once lost.

Rock Bottom brings a mix of action, adventure, and puzzles. Each level depicts portions of Blobby’s life. Fight off ghosts of the past, run from IRS agents, solve a plethora of puzzle-based obstacles, navigate through hazardous terrain, and many more to come. Collect memory fragments and various other curios to reveal hidden content. The movement and game mechanics take inspiration from various well-known platformers, notably Celeste, Hollow Knight, and Shovel Knight. This project is powered by Unity.
